Spring 2000 Cover

Tom and Pat Leeson, featured in our page 30 story on nature photography couples, discovered that their mutual love of wildlife photography while they were newlyweds living in a $300-a-month cabin in Yellowstone. Two decades later, they have a 10-year-old daughter, and so take turns traveling the far corners of the globe ti capture images of rare animals in their natural habitats. Tom shot our cover photo of a giant panda in China.
