Panasonic has added the Lumix DMC-ZS10 — a line of digital cameras known for its ultra-wide-angle to long zoom lenses — to its ZS-series.
The 14.1-megapixel ZS10 compact camera comes equipped with a 24mm ultra-wide-angle lens and 16x optical zoom, full-HD 1920x1080 video recording capabilities and a large 3-inch, 460,000-dot Smart Touch Intelligent LCD screen.
Panasonic's latest LCD screen technology allows users to easily view and adjust their photos with touch zoom, autofocus, shutter and playback.
Also added to this line of cameras is Panasonic's new 3D Photo mode, which produces a realistic 3D photo by taking 20 consecutive photos and overlaying the two best images. To view these images, however, users must display them on a Panasonic Viera 3D HDTV or on another MPO-compatible device.
The camera also uses built-in GPS for geotagging and a Lumix image uploader for instant Facebook and YouTube sharing. The Lumix ZS10 is available in black, red, blue, silver and brown. Pricing was unavailable at press time.
