Compared to most point-and-shot cameras, Casio's new EX-ZR100 and EX-ZR10 models offer some new DSLR features.

The ZR100 has a 12.1-megapixel sensor and offers full 1080p HD, continuous autofocusing video—which can be shot in Casio's "slo-mo" mode. With a faster processor, the ZR100 can also capture up to 30 high-speed burst still images at 40fps; although in this mode, images will be reduced to 10-megapixel resolution.

Extremely similar to its predecessor, the ZR10 model, which came out in September, seems to have only two notable differences. While the ZR10 has slightly higher, 12.4-megapixel resolution, it offers a slightly smaller, 7x optical zoom range. The ZR100, on the other hand, can achieve up to 12.5x optical zoom.

TheZR10 retails for $249 and the ZR100, which came out in January, retails for $299.
