The 12.4-megapixel TL210 and the 12.2-megapixel TL205 compact cameras are the latest in Samsung's line of dual-LCD-screen products. With a 1.5-inch color screen on the front and a 3-inch (TL210) or 2.7-inch (TL205) screen on the back, both cameras offer increased viewing capabilities for self-portrait and timed shots.
In addition to higher resolution, the TL210 is also equipped with 720p HD video recording capabilities and can be configured with an HDMI adapter to view images or video on an HDTV or HD monitor. The TL210 can also capture images with up to 5x optical zoom with a 26mm wide-angle lens, while the TL205 comes with a 35mm lens and 3x optical zoom capabilities.
Both cameras feature a self-timer mode, which displays a countdown on the front screen; couple shot mode, which takes a picture when both subjects' heads tilt toward one another; and child mode, which plays music and an animation on the front screen to distract the subject while taking pictures. The perfect portrait system is also included on both cameras and uses auto detection technology, such as smile shot, blink detection, red-eye fix and beauty shot.
The TL210 and TL205 will be available this spring with prices to be announced.
