The Extreme Pro has been optimized for imaging applications requiring Full HD3 1920 x 1080 resolution, up to a 50Mbps bit rate and 4:2:2 color sampling. Video Performance Guarantee allows for superior Full HD video recording at a sustained 20MB/sec write speed.
Also this past month, Sandisk has released the Extreme Pro SDH UHS. A more price-conscious option, this second new card achieves up to 45MB/sec and 10MB/sec minimum sustained write speed when recording HD 1080p videos or 3D content.
The SDH UHS costs $109 to $349 (ranging from an 8GB to a 32GB model). The 128GB SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash card retails for $1,499.
