Animoto, an online slideshow program, has upgraded its system to allow video clips to be incorporated into shows along with still images. Video clips can be taken from cameras or phones and can be enhanced with cinematic artificial intelligence technology that matches video clips, photos and text to a soundtrack. Slideshows can also be embellished with stock photos from Getty Images and iStockphoto.
Animoto produces videos that can be downloaded or shared online through e-mail, blogs, YouTube, Twitter, social networks and mobile devices.
Animoto offers three membership levels, ranging from a free account to the pro $249-per-year account.
