In another of the ever-expanding information-sharing features added by Facebook, the social networking giant has recently announced a global roll-out of a new feature that enables people to use images as "comments" to other people's Facebook posts.

According to a report from CNET, Facebook has added a new "Attach a Photo" button to its news feed threads, which allow users to add photos and also to make text comments about them.

To add a photo comment, members of the site can click on a new camera icon button and upload images from their computers. Facebook engineer Bob Baldwin told CNET that he create this new feature because “sometimes showing a photo helps me tell a story much better than words alone. I hope this will make threads with friends more expressive and engaging."
