Lynda.com, a digital media tutorial hub, has again recruited Seattle-based commercial photographer Natalie Fobes to instruct a basic photography class on color, composition and light that will be available in May. As part of her seven-chapter course, Fobes will use photographs from her assignments to explain the elements of two-dimensional design, color theory, light temperature and basic lighting.
Last year, Fobes first collaborated with Lynda.com to do a one-hour documentary as part of the online education site's Creative Inspirations series.
In February, Fobes presented a lecture, titled "Reaching Home," at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles, and also was a judge and presenter at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International conference in Las Vegas.
