Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke, the former governor of Washington state, has invited Seattle photographer Barry Wong to install his fine-art photograph "Jasmine Tea & Black Teapot" in the Diplomatic Room at the Department of Commerce Building in Washington, D.C.

The photograph is one in a series of Asian still-life images created by Wong. Other noted Pacific Northwest artists in the Commerce exhibit include Gerard Tsutakawa, Dale Chihuly and Johsel Namkung.

Wong's photographs have also been exhibited at Seattle's City Hall and at Kobo in Seattle's International District. His prints are currently featured at the city's Wing Luke Museum Marketplace store.
