As part of their 15th anniversary celebration, Camera Bits is currently offering single user licenses for their photo workflow program, Photo Mechanic 4.6.

Version 4.6 includes trademark features such as the ability to embed GPS coordinates into photos, as well as new upload templates—like Secure FTP, Amazon S3 and Flickr upload—for online connectivity.

The new "live ingest" command watches a number of folders for incoming photos and processes them in up to three different, pre-designated ways. For example, the first destination could be a copy to a backup directory, and the second destination could include renaming and metadata tagging.

Normally retailing for $150, the special promotion price is $60 (they have not yet announced when the discount will end). Also, the offer does not include the free, one-year extension that is normally offered with the purchase of your first year. The exception to this stipulation will be the upcoming 4.6.7 update later this year.
