Just a year after releasing Creative Suite 5, Adobe has released a Create Suite 5.5, an upgrade, which introduces advancements in HTML5 authoring and mobile app development.
Other upgrades with this version include workflow improvements for video production and editing. With Suite 5.5, users can author content for multiple platforms, operating systems, web browsers, smartphones and tablets.
At the same time, Adobe has also released the Professional Edition of Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, a turnkey solution that allows publishers to cost-efficiently publish content to Android tablets, BlackBerry PlayBook and Apple iPad.
Creative Suite 5.5 programs are available separately or as components of a Creative Suite package. The suites range in price from $1,299 to $2,599. Upgrades from Creative Suite 5 are available from $299 to $549.
