Following the release of its Version 4 site-management software, Live- Books has designed a new version, LiveBooks 5.0, designed to give users the freedom and flexibility to manage all the content on their websites themselves. The software also allows for detailed management of image portfolios using the drag-and-drop EditSuite Lightbox.

Version 5 contains new navigation options, website styling options and features such as slideshow movies, HTML gallery presentations, music and integration with other web services. Additionally, the search engine and Client Access, which creates password-protected areas with customized content, have been updated.

The EditSuite software comprises editing tools that give photographers creative control over the content on their websites, allowing them to choose image transitions from a library of various styles, assign music to portfolios of images or personalize navigation menu items by naming and renaming them. All LiveBook sites come with normal web stat tracking and are compatible with Google Analytics.

LiveBooks 5.0 is available in three packages on a one-time, non-recurring fee basis: Pro, $3,900; Lite, $1,900; and Folio, $950.
