Animoto Productions has recently released Animoto for Photography, allowing photographers to create professional-quality videos that can be distributed via e-mail, blogs and mobile devices as well as burned to DVD. Animoto for Photography is built on the Animoto for Business video creation platform.

Adding to features such as a royalty-free library of hundreds of precleared songs, Animoto for Photography incorporates two new features designed specifically for photographers: Photographers can easily adjust the speed of display for their photographs, and videos are made to include a call-to-action button at the end of the stream and function as a lead-generation tool.

Animoto is based on Cinematic Artificial Intelligence technology, which uses the same postproduction skills and techniques used in television and film. No two videos are ever the same – even those with an identical set of images and music. Videos are produced in wide-screen format and can be embedded on any website or downloaded in DVD-quality formats.

Animoto for Photography is a subscription-based service. With the subscription, photographers gain access to a large library of music licensed for commercial use.

Unlimited subscriptions cost $99 per user for three months, or $249 per user for one year.
