Even without the accompanying camera body, Panasonic has begun development on “the world’s first interchangeable 3D lens.”
The company’s “twin lens” is scheduled to be released this year, and will eventually be developed to work with the Lumix G Micro System line.
This 3D lens will feature two optical systems installed within the diameter of the lens mount, creating stereoscopic images from the left and right lenses that will then be viewable with any 3D-image processing system.
