Tamron has debuted its superior performance SP 70-300mm Di VC USD telephoto lens.
Features for this lens include extra-low-dispersion glass for reduced light refraction as well as ultrasonic, silent drive and vibration compensation, both of which make the lens faster and quieter.
The lens is compatible with full-frame or 35mm sensor cameras. When used with an APS-C sensor camera, the angle of view will change the zoom range to 109-465mm. This is the first of Tamron’s lenses to feature the ultrasonic autofocus drive mechanism.
The lens is currently available for $449 for the Nikon mount only, but the Canon and Sony models will soon follow.
