Buffalo Technology has added the 1-terabyte dual-drive LinkStation Mini (LS-WS1.0TGL/R1) to its high-performance line of storage devices.

The new LinkStation Mini's dual-drive configuration provides complete data redundancy through RAID 1. In addition, users with large media libraries will appreciate the included DLNA server by TwonkyVision, so they can stream files through any DLNA-compatible media player.

The LinkStation Mini includes Buffalo's Web Access feature, which allows users to access content stored on the device via the internet. It also includes a Remote Power Feature and an extra USB port to connect a printer via the integrated print server. The LinkStation Mini, weighing just over one pound, has an estimated retail price of $699.
