Chronicle Books has released a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Brian Lanker called “Shall We Dance?” The book includes 150 color images and features a foreword by Maya Angelou.
“Shall We Dance?” documents Lanker’s year-long cross-country trip through America to capture all aspects and manifestations of dance, from waltz and square dance to hip-hop, swing and Afro-Cuban styles. The book, which features interviews with dancers and directors, retails at $50 in hardcover.
