Lumiquest Releases Quik Bounce

LumiQuest has released the Quik Bounce, designed for use with or without a ceiling to soften light. The Quik Bounce attaches to the flash using self-adhesive Velcro or with the optional cinch strap.

The Quik Bounce is designed with doors that can open to allow for 20 percent of the light to bounce off the surface area to provide fill light and uniform illumination. When there is no ceiling available, the doors can remain closed, allowing 100 percent of the light to bounce off this surface area.

Rololight Offers Rollable Softbox Lighting System

Rololight has released the Softbox System, its newest continuous fluorescent lighting system. The Softbox was designed to be a modular lighting system with detachable individual light strips.

For ease of transport, the whole lighting system weighs less than 10 pounds and can be rolled up to fit into a travel bag. Each light strip has its own built-in ballast, a protected tube that draws only 0.02 amps and a service life of up to 20,000 hours.

Litepanels has introduced the compact MicroPro on-camera light fixture that doubles the light output of its predecessor, the Micro. Xotopro Photographic Equipment has introduced the QMM1 macro flash mount system and Tumax macro twin-flash units.

Lumiquest Secures Flash Diffuser

LumiQuest recently introduced the Soft Screen, a flash diffuser for use with digital and film SLR pop-up flashes. The Soft Screen was designed to be installed in seconds to the hot shoe on digital or film SLRs, with an open oval on the bottom front that fit over the name plate on the camera. Because several recent digital SLR cameras have smaller name plates, the Soft Screen might not attach as securely to those models. Promaster MacroLume Offers Versatility

The Photographic Research Organization has introduced its Promaster MacroLume TTL Digital, the digital version of its Promaster TTL Macro Flash.
